“My name is Dani and I have been working as a Supply Chain Support Officer on the Restart Scheme since June 2021. It has been an amazing journey from the start, and I have learned so much along the way. My role is very varied and can differ from one day to the next. Primarily, my role is to support our delivery partners and supply chain leads with the delivery of the Restart Scheme.
“My daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities include analysing data, reporting performance figures and forecasts, supporting delivery teams with any queries they may have, minute taking during weekly meetings, spot checking records to ensure files are compliant, delivering workshops to teams on areas of improvement, ensuring teams have their files ready for PCO checks and much more.
“I have been involved with working alongside many departments within the business and have taken on projects for the wider contract outside of my job description which has been exciting. This role has given me opportunities to step outside of my comfort zone and build my confidence in working with wider teams. I have learned so much during my time in this role and have developed a lot professionally.
“I feel as though I have found a role that ticks all my ‘boxes’, and I can honestly say that I look forward to starting work in the morning. I love the tasks I am involved in, but a big part of what makes this job the best is my team! We are a very bonded team, and we can always lean on each other for support whenever we need it; our Supply Chain Manager, Cathy Wilson being the top of that list. She is very much the glue that holds us all together!”
We’d like to take this chance to thank all of our delivery partners on the Restart Scheme: Cornwall Council, Reed in Partnership, Motiv-8, Stanguide, CMT Services, Go Train Ltd, Prospect Training Services and Lizard Pathways.
The Restart Scheme is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions.
