Supporting you once you start in work
It’s such a fantastic feeling when you get offered the job but when the big day arrives it can also feel a little daunting.
It’s natural to feel nervous, but we will be by your side every step of the way, guiding you through any concerns, supporting you in your job and helping you to progress in your chosen career.
Our in-work support lasts for up to 12 months and is provided by either your Change Coach or a member of our In-Work Support Team.
We will stay in regular contact with you and can support you via telephone, text, email, face to face and via post, in or outside office hours.
Starting your new career
Our specialist in-work support team are on hand for any advice and guidance. You will also receive exclusive access to our online Opportunities portal that enables you to manage your career development plan and progress in your job.
Back to work plan
Once you've secured your new job, we will work with you on your back-to-work plan. This provides support on areas such as health and wellbeing, how to manage your workload, in-work benefits, and contact details for support and advice.
Travel plan
We will support you to identify your travel options to and from work. We can also support you to learn your new route to work and with your travel expenses.
Care strategies
We understand it can sometimes be challenging going back to work especially if you are a parent and have childcare responsibilities. We can advise and support you with childcare costs making it easier for you to move into work.
Work / specialist equipment
Once you have successfully secured a job or set up your own business, we may be able to provide support with any specialist or workplace equipment and tools to help you do your job.
Progress in your job
Whether it is finding a new job, increasing your pay or working hours, or turning a temporary job into permanent, we can assist you to progress your career and increase your earnings.
