The Restart Scheme helps people build confidence, skills, and the ability to move back into work. We work closely with our specialist support provider, Cosmic, who deliver dedicated digital support to our participants on the Restart Scheme.

“Alan began his training with us at Cosmic, back in November 2022. Prior to that, Alan had very little experience with digital devices and had only just got used to using a mobile phone, so when we began the training, it was all brand new for him.

“Since beginning his training, Alan has progressed from face to face support and coaching, where he would make copious notes on paper, to being gifted a laptop from Seetec Pluss that he is now confidently using from home.

“Alan is now communicating on his mobile phone and has since joined the workshop training sessions, where he is actively taking part as the “expert in the room”. He is a very pleasant individual who has thrived, not just in the digital realm, but in the social inclusion aspect of our delivery as well.

“I believe that this is a textbook example of the working relationship between the Seetec Pluss Plymouth team, the management team and Cosmic.

“The training that we provide is often framed in the context of progression into employment or opportunities relevant to employability, but the opportunity to also promote positive mental health and support has been a profound experience for me and I am very proud to be part of an organisation that values this so highly.
