For two of our Emergency First Aid at Work learners, the essential skills they gained came into use almost immediately!

Seetec Pluss supported the team from No Limits Cafe in Devon with both Emergency First Aid at Work and Accredited Food Safety courses.

The team of learners, who all have a range of learning difficulties, may have been nervous during the training, but passed with flying colours.

Janet Francis, Learner and Employer Engagement Executive commented,

“It was a pleasure to do the training with the learners.  We had a 100% pass rate and they were delighted and full of smiles”

What makes this so inspirational is that soon after the training, two of the learners had to put what they had done into practice, thinking on their feet and showing great confidence.

“It really does show how important this training is” Said Amanda a manager with No Limits Cafe,

She want on to explain the story:

“Our team had to use their very recent first aid training for quite a traumatic incident in the café

Two of the people who received the training had to carry out emergency first aid including running to get a defib, cutting clothing and obviously calling an ambulance.  The defib ended up not being required however, having had the training it instilled that confidence in what they were doing.

We are very proud of how they dealt with situation and it really does show how important this training is, you really never know when it may be required”

huge congratulations to the whole team, especially the two superstar learners.
