With a little help from his friends at Seetec Pluss, Ian got the job!
lan started the Work And Health programme (delivered by Seetec Pluss on behalf of Ingeus) in November 2022 and says the support he’s received has helped him improve all aspects of his life.
During the first training workshop lan attended – called ‘Build A Helpful Mindset’ – he disclosed some of the barriers he felt were stopping him from finding work. He really opened up on his recent life experiences which had affected his confidence and self-belief, allowing our teams to tailor specific support to suit his needs.
lan shared details of past employment and was surprised to discover just how much transferable knowledge and experience he actually had.
Working with his coaches, an action plan was put in place.
lan realised his capabilities through attending additional workshops and support appointments.
lan took full advantage of the help on offer and really engaged with all the suggestions and advice he received from our teams and workshops.
He had advice from his employment coach, Mel Wright, and interview and mindset training from Kelly Eastwood and Employment Account manager Aaron Keighley.
It wasn’t long before Ian successfully gained an interview as an HGV operative and…… HE GOT THE JOB!!
We are very proud of lan’s accomplishments and what he has achieved in such a short space of time.
Brimming with positivity, lan told us; “no matter how dark times seem, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.” How true!
